Cinnamon Candied Cashews

Whenever I think of sugary coated cashews, I immediately think of the holidays or a fun Super Bowl party! Candied nuts are one of the best things to snack on this time of year and they’re also great to give out as gifts to loved ones for Valentine’s day. They’re a budget friendly, homemade with love food gift just about anyone can enjoy! Nuts are already a great snack, but when you roast them in a cinnamony sugar coating, they become absolutely irresistible!

This recipe is really easy to make, requiring only a few minutes of prep time, warming up the oil, mixing in the sugar/ spices and baking these delicious morsels to snacking perfection! I’m baking up a storm in my kitchen this week and the best smell coming from my oven has to be these candied nuts! I wish I could make this scent into a holiday candle to burn year-round!

Cinnamon Candied Cashews

Ingredients
- 2 cups Organics® roasted unsalted cashews
- 1/2 cup Organics® pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp. Organics® virgin unrefined coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Add everything but the cashews to a microwave safe bowl, microwave until the coconut oil is melted and stir together until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Pour coconut sugar mixture over cashews and mix until nuts are evenly coated.
- Pop Cashew mixture into the oven and cook for 25 min., stirring halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely before serving.
